Practice
12/24/2004
By Sue Hackett
irst off,
I would like to wish everyone the best for the holidays. With all the
hustle and bustle of Hanukah, Christmas, and New Years, we tend to let our
"every day" routines slide.
We have quite a big
break between the Fall '04 and Winter '05 sessions. It's just about 4
weeks. I don't know about you, but if I don't get some dart shooting in
during that time, I think I would go nuts (not that I'm not already there...!).
This week's suggestion is to try to remember to practice. Practicing can
involve keeping your arm loose, fine tuning your stroke, and concentrating on
strategy. If you can try getting in 20 minutes a day of practice, maybe
attend some local tournaments. Get a group of darters/friends together and
play some fun games (Golf, Killer, Poker darts, 42). You never know you
may enjoy yourself while improving your darting ability.
I wish everyone a Safe and Happy Holiday Season!! |
